Cave-in-Rock, Southern Illinois

This is another portion of our extended weekend.  We were in Southern Illinois at Cave-in-Rock State Park.  I wish I had taken a picture of the tiny town.  And I do mean tiny!  Just a small section of two streets made up this town.  And believe it or not, they had a welcome center!

This cave is inside the state park where we stayed and opens to the Ohio River.  These are the steps leading down to it.
